This is the story behind The Perimeter Project and why running 110 miles around a lake was the only response that made sense.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

My name is Andrew, and this project was built from a moment that changed how I see everything…

At the start of 2026, my life changed in a way I never could have expected.

On New Year’s Eve, I was struck in the back of the head by a stray bullet—fired from miles away.

No warning. No explanation. Just chance.

A few millimeters in another direction, and I wouldn’t be here. in that moment - I was spared.

I walked out of the hospital with four staples, a clean bullet laceration… and the same words from everyone:

“You’re the luckiest man alive.”

And they were right.

But experiences like that don’t just pass. They stay with you.

They force you to confront something most people avoid:

Time is fragile. And tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.

So the question became simple—

What do you do with the time you’ve been given?

I didn’t want to just move on.
I wanted to build something that demanded more. Something that meant something.

Something that could push me to my limits, mentally and physically—and give back in the process. If that experience couldn’t kill me, nothing can

That became The Perimeter Project
