THE RUN
110 miles around Lake Okeechobee • OCTOBER 2026
The Perimeter Project is a 110-mile endurance run around Lake Okeechobee—the largest lake in Florida.
The route follows the Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail, a raised levee that fully circles the lake.
No shortcuts. No breaks in the loop. Start to finish.
What It Entails
110 miles on foot.
A fully exposed path—no shade, no cover.
Relentless Florida heat.
Constant wind off the lake.
Terrain that shifts between asphalt, gravel, and uneven levee paths.
Long, isolated stretches with no distraction, just movement and forward progress.
The Reality
This isn’t a controlled race environment.
It’s a continuous effort through elements that don’t let up.
Physical fatigue.
Mental strain.
Hours of repetition.
Every mile earned.
The Objective
To complete the full perimeter—start to finish—on foot.
No matter the conditions.
The Build
this isn’t just an idea - it’s already in motion
